Getting started​

What does Codexian Color Swatches do?​

The app adds color and image swatches on product pages, lets you link related products as groups, and sell products together as discounted bundles—all from your Shopify admin.

How do I show swatches on my storefront?​

Enable the theme app embed from the setup guide or App settings. Open your theme editor, turn on the app embed for this app, and save. Swatches, groups, and bundles will appear where your theme supports them.

What should I set up first?​

  1. Start with Product options to assign swatch styles to your options (for example, Color)
  2. Pick a preset in the Swatch gallery
  3. Create product groups or bundles when you are ready to link products or offer bundle discounts

How do I assign swatches to product options?​

Go to Product options in the app menu. Sync options from your store, then choose a swatch type (rounded, square, image, dropdown, and more) for each option such as Color or Size.

Can I change how swatches look?​

Yes. Use the Swatch gallery for quick presets, or the Style editor to fine-tune size, borders, labels, and hover behavior for each swatch type.

Swatches are not showing on my store. What should I check?​

Confirm:

  1. The app embed is enabled in your theme
  2. The option is assigned in Product options
  3. The product has variants for that option

Some themes also need the app block on the product template.

Product groups & bundles​

What is a product group?​

A product group links separate products (for example, the same shirt in different colors) so customers can switch between them on one product page without returning to the collection.

What is a product bundle?​

A bundle combines multiple products sold together, often with a percentage or fixed discount when the customer adds the full bundle to the cart.

How do bundle discounts work?​

When creating a bundle, choose a percentage or flat discount. Bundle items are tagged when added to the cart and can be grouped/displayed together on the cart page according to your bundle rules.

Theme, settings & billing​

Can I turn off groups or bundles without uninstalling?​

Yes. In App settings you can enable or disable color swatches, product groups, and product bundles independently for your store.

How do pricing plans work?​

Open Plans in the app menu to view plans and features. Your current plan is shown on the Home page. Upgrade or change billing period from the Plans page.
